Nothing new really [May. 24th, 2008|04:47 pm]

I figured I would update this thing.

-Passed all my classes.
-Went to WWE Raw (my 11th wwe show).
-Went to Cedar Point and had alot of fun.
-Dropped all my summer classes.
-I really want to learn Italian and go to Italy.
-I hoped to get a really awesome job, but it didn't work out.
-My current job kinda sucks and i'm gonna find a second one.
-I'm still almost broke, but my rebate check shoud be coming within the next week.
-I'll be having alot of bonfires at my house this summer.
-I hate Obama and hope that Clinton takes the fight all the way to the convention.
-I'm still not sold on McCain, but i'm leaning towards him.
-Romney was invited to McCains ranch for Memorial Day. They say it isn't a Vice Presidental audition, but does anyone really buy that?
-I'm reading The Shinning. Now I love the movie, but the book is way better at explaining things the movie showed, but never explained.

That's about it.

Lull [Apr. 30th, 2008|10:20 pm]

I've fallen into a lull. I don't have any motivation to do anything. I'm sick of school. I haven't been able to write anything in a while. I feel useless all the time. The political scene has been pretty dull and boring. I don't like anybody running for president. So far my new job isn't worth it. I'm almost broke. Right now i can't afford Cedar Point. My car is acting up. I'm going to be stuck in a math class for 4 days a week for the next month.

I shouldn't complain. I know there are people out there who have it far worse then i do. I just hate feeling unproductive and i can't be productive because i have no motivation. None. Zero.

New Job/RedEye saved my life. [Apr. 28th, 2008|01:40 am]

So i start my new job tomorrow at 10pm in Brighton. Its a Target store so it'll prolly take 6 or 7 hours. I prolly won't be home til like 6 in the morning. Oh well.

The other night I was overcome with one of my down spells. It came on pretty sudden and was pretty bad. Luckly RedEye was about to come on and everything was ok.  Thanks Greg, Bill, and Andy.

Red Wings [Mar. 19th, 2008|04:24 am]
I wish i watched and payed attention to Hockey in the late 90's.

A little background...
The season before this, Avalanche right wing Claude Lemieux checked Chris Draper from behind while he was off balance; Draper was in a vulnerable position, yet Lemieux not only applied the hit but followed through, driving Draper's face into the boards. The hit sent Draper out of the game and into the hospital with a broken jaw, shattered cheek and orbital bone, which required reconstructive surgery involving his jaw being wired shut and numerous stitches.

The clip below is from a game the following season.

"Fight Night at the Joe" or "Brawl in Hockeytown"

A brawl broke out between Wings center Igor Larionov and Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg, in the middle of the chaos, Wings enforcer Darren McCarty seized the chance to avenge the hit on Chris Draper. McCarty goes after Lemieux. Avalanche goaltender Patrick Roy goes to help Lemieux, but is intercepted by Red Wings forward Brendan Shanahan. While Shanahan and Colorado defenseman Adam Foote fought, Wings goalie Mike Vernon went out to center ice to meet Roy. The two goaltenders brawl.

Sam left for boot camp today... [Mar. 4th, 2008|10:10 pm]
This feeling is so odd. I don't quite know how to explain why i'm feeling it.

Its sort of a combination of a couple things.

-I finally make a new friend and now he's gone for 6 weeks, comes back for 2 weeks, then leaves for like 4 years.
-He is going off to do what he wants and i'm stuck here moving no closer to any of my goals.
-I'm thinking about what things are going to be like in 4 years.

Will I be in Michigan?
Will I be doing what I want to be doing?
Will I still be stuck here?

I guess i don't deal well with change.

Keith Olbermann and MSNBC [Feb. 26th, 2008|12:45 pm]
What a tool.
He tries to be witty and controversial, but just comes off looking like a little kid.
His ratings are in the toilet and nobody really pays any attention to what he says.
MSNBC would do the world a great service by giving this guy the pink slip.
But then again, MSNBC is a joke.
Tucker would be smart to abandon the sinking ship that is MSNBC.

I recently heard someone talking about he difference between MSNBC and the other news networks.

They said...
Fox News and CNN are 24 hour new stations with a website.
MSNBC is a website with a 24 hour news station.

Pro-Choice Holocaust survivor [Feb. 14th, 2008|11:13 pm]

Tom Lantos was the a member of the House of Representatives and also a survivor of the Holocaust.

During his time in the Congress, he got a 100% rating from NARAL (the top pro-choice organization in the country).

So he was as pro-choice as they come.

It's ironic that someone who was once targeted for extermination because he was viewed as less of a human supported the "right" of a women to target her baby for extermination because it was "less than human".

No more job/Video games [Feb. 13th, 2008|12:11 am]
While my last post was of a political nature, this one will not be. So to anybody from New Zealand, California, Canada, or the UK who might be reading this, i won't be discussing politics. Maybe next time.

I will be discussing my life. Yay.

So, my assignment (aka job) ended on friday. So for the first time in a year and half i don't have an 11 dollar an hour job. It blows. I actually have to look at what i'm spending my money on. It's probably for the better. I was spending money like a 15 year old girl with her daddy's credit card.

Its funny, i payed 700 dollars (before the price dropped) for a PS3 and i've played more PS1 and PS2 games on it than PS3 games. Then again, a PS3 game is 60 bucks.

I won't talk politics, but i will say something controversial...

Final Fantasy Ten > Final Fantasy Seven
Final Fantasy Eight > Final Fantasy Seven

I said it.

until next time...
